Create a Star

Brief
Sport Haslemere is an independent body that wanted to introduce a new local scheme, to help and support young talented sports stars to achieve success within their chosen sport.
They needed to raise awareness for the scheme, which required us to create a naming convention, identity and communications material to engage and recruit local businesses to become sponsors.
Solution
A professional identity that suggests the feeling of opportunity and excitement to appeal to the young sporting stars themselves. The eroded texture and star shape then lent itself to become a graphic style that could be used across marketing material.

Haslemere Health Centre
IDENTITY | STATIONERY | INTERNAL & EXTERNAL SIGNAGE
Brief
Haslemere Health Centre is an NHS doctors surgery based in Surrey. Looking to revitalise their appearance and appear more professional they wanted to become ‘the practice you would choose’.
The requirement was to create a brand that was suggestive of their work in the local area. A stationery set and updated internal/external signage was also required.
Solution
The symbolic ‘tree of life’ graphic is indicative of the surrounding rural area, patient care and friendly service offered at the centre. This detailed graphic used on a larger scale created an engaging and inviting appearance.
To improve a patients’ journey within the centre, we addressed reception and waiting areas by creating new signage and wayfinding. As a result of this clear and harmonious solution the centre is more welcoming and relaxing.

RSPCA
IDENTITY | PRINT | MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
Brief
As part of my final major project at university, I had an open brief, which I had to set.
Choosing a subject close to home, I opted to re-brand a reputable charity. Its current stiff corporate personality lacked the positive work the RSPCA do. I decided to re-create the brands identity and as a means of promoting the fact, created a dog-walking event. This included various communications material and event paraphernalia.
Solution
The RSPCA are heroes to vulnerable, mistreated animals. With this in mind I created an identity that plays on this superhero mentality, whilst keeping their professional appearance. Emphasising the ‘C’ as both a paw print and the word ‘Cruelty’ connects the two subjects together providing instant understanding and styled in a way that provides superhero recognition of the brand. The vibrant colour palette and bold use of brand assets provides a positive, happy and consistent look and feel; reflective of the work they carry out.
